A program involving Nikshay Mitras from the Health Department and District Administration was held today to promote Pradhan Mantri TB Mukt Bharat Campaign.

 The event was held under the leadership of Deputy Commissioner, Dr. Devansh Yadav and the supervision of CMO, Dr. Mohd Yaqoob Mir.

The event was skillfully organized by the dedicated team of the District Tuberculosis Centre. Notably, the newly registered Nikshay Mitras, who have taken up the responsibility of supporting TB patients by providing Nikshay Poshan Baskets to them, were acknowledged at the event.

The primary aim of this program was to raise awareness about Tuberculosis (TB) in alignment with the National Tuberculosis Elimination Program (NTEP). Distinguished officers and officials from various departments, including the Health Department, actively participated in the event, during which 21 TB patients were provided with essential food kits.

The event echoed the resounding slogan, "TB Harega Desh Jeetega, TB Mukt Bharat" (TB will lose, India will win), underscoring the urgent need to eradicate TB from our nation and work towards a TB-free India.

The CMO appealed to the general public and District officers  to come forward, adopt TB patients, and unite in the collective effort to eliminate TB from the District.
