Kulgam:SSP Kulgam Dr. G.V Sundeep Chakravarthy-IPS visited village Shahoo, Kulgam and took stock of the security arrangements put for hassle free celebration of Muharam and ensured all possible arrangements and facilities are being provided to Devotees/participants in religious rite (Muharram).
SSP Kulgam was accompanied by other officers of Kulgam Police and civil administration. During his visit SSP alongwith the officers served food and other eatable items among the participants to promote religious harmony, brotherhood and peace.
He said that Kulgam Police has been very keen in providing security measures and other possible support to every community member.
He also interacted with the leaders of Shia community and assured them that every possible support from Kulgam Police for observing the religious events will be provided.
SSP Kulgam received massive response from the devotees, who applauded the action and support of Kulgam Police.
