Jammu:National Secular Forum (NSF) today celebrated the birth anniversary of Shaheed Bhagat Singh.
On the occasion, NSF activists raised slogans "Bhagat Singh Amar Raha '"inqulaab Zindabad" 'Bharat Mata ki jai", and they paid tributes to shaeed Bhagat Singh and garlanded the portraits of the son of soil. Ankush Abrol former JKCA Working Committee member and BCCI member of Museum Committee was the chief guest and Dr.Vikas Sharma State president NSF presided over the function.
Speaking on the occasion Ankush Abrol appreciated the initiative taken by the NSFmember to remember the martyrs who have sacrificed their lives for the freedom of the country. He also stressed upon the youth to shun their self cantered outlook and contribute in the development of the nation.
Dr.Vikas Sharma recalled the planning capability, boldness and feeling of nationalism in martyr Bhagat Singh and stressed upon the youth to follow his ideas. He appealed to the youth to come forward to eliminate all evils from the society.
