Anantnag :Senior National Conference (NC) leader and District Vice President Anantnag, Imran Amin Shah, reaffirmed the party’s commitment to the holistic and modern development of Anantnag town. Speaking during a day-long tour of various localities, Shah emphasized that the NC remains dedicated to transforming this historic town with modern infrastructure and public amenities.
Highlighting the recent ceasefire between India and Pakistan, Shah welcomed the development, stating, “War brings only sorrows and miseries. Dialogue is the only real and sustainable solution to conflicts.”
Imran shah lauded the efforts of Chief Minister Jenab Omar Abdullah for his on-ground assessments and his pro-people approach, saying the NC has consistently worked for the peace, prosperity, and welfare of the people of Jammu and Kashmir. “The NC, having itself been a victim of violence, has always stood for peace and supported initiatives that bring lasting stability to the region,” Shah noted.
imran Shah Urging the government to expedite ongoing development projects for swift action to ease traffic congestion in the town. He specifically advocated for the widening of the Reshi Bazar and Janglathmandi–Donipawa roads and ensuring smooth traffic flow within the town’s interiors.
