Supriya Sharma of Jammu crowned 2nd Runner up in Miss Indian Diva 2018

Jammu:Miss Supriya Sharma from Jammu was crowned the 2nd Runner up in the glittering Miss Indian Diva 2018 Contest held at New Delhi. She entered the contest through a wild card entry on the basis of her being the youngest Indian at the age of 23 to have won the 2018 NPC Eastern Seaboard Championship at Atlanta, USA recently. Supriya is presently persuing her integrated M.Phil./Ph.D programme at  the Centre for East Asian Studies at the prestigious Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi and is pursuing her research on maritime China. Supriya, also a passionate Sports person, completed her 12th from the Saint Mary's Presentation Convent, Jammu and thereafter joined the Jesus and Mary College, New Delhi to complete her Master's at the Nelson Mandela Centre for Conflict Resolution and Peace Building at the Jamia Millia Islamia University. Having worked as an intern in the Embassy of Mexico, The Institute of Defence Studies Analysis and the Observer Research Foundation, Supriya who is an all rounder and a fitness freak when contacted said that she was happy to be the 2nd Runner up Miss Indian Diva  2018.She said she believed that Studies, Sports, Co-curricular and the Extra Co-curricular activities should go hand in hand. She also said it was important for a person to be a good human being. Her parents are teachers and her  father Professor Keshav Sharma teaches at the University of Jammu.
