NSUI paid floral tributes to students martyr's of 1966

Jammu:
National Students Union of India(NSUI) activists paid their rich tributes to the students martyr’s who sacrificed their lives for the cause of students in 1966 today remembered by NSUI activists on their 53th death anniversary. They paid floral tributes to the students martyr’s Shahid Gurcharan Singh

Shahid Brijmohan  Shahid gulshan handa and Subash chand, who lost their lives in police firing during an agitation in 1966.

RAQEEQ Ahmed Khan, state President NSUI said that these martyr’s will always remains in the hearts of students as a source of encouragement as they lost their lives while raising their voice against the discrimination with Jammu region. He also urged upon the students community to show active interest in the social issues of Nation and State in general.

They also shouted Slogans of “Amar Shaheed Amar Rahe”

Anuj Manhas State Vice President NSUI appealed all the Students activists to come and unite under the banner of NSUI and fights for the rights of students and wok for the welfare of students community.

Prominent among those who paid their tributes included  Vikas Bhodaria, Mohd Yaseen, Satish Kumar Basharat Latief, Akshay Sharma, Anirudh Raina, Ghulam Ahmed, Nitin Sharma, Pankaj Sharma, Varun Joshi and others.
