Jammu Sanskriti School, Jammu students bring laurels by winning galaxy of medals in Speedball Championship

Jammu:9th-State speed ball championship concluded at Teachers Bhawan, Gandhi Nagar organized by J&K sports speed ball association from 30th Nov to 3rd Dec, 2017. About 1500 students drawn from various districts of J&K participated in the event. The Chief Guest for this event was DGP Dr. S.P Vaid (IPS), Sh. Ranjit Kalra (Chairman J&K Sports Council) and Mr. Vijay Gupta (Director Times TV) were the Guests of honour. Jammu Sanskriti School, Jammu students brought laurels by winning 51 medals in all i.e. 10-gold, 15-silver & 26 bronze. On behalf of the school; Principal cum vice-chairperson of the school, Mrs. Rohini Aima received the award trophy for “Big School Team of the Year” from the chief guest. She said that ‘There is no end to education. It is not that you read in books, pass an examination & finish with education. The whole of life, from the moment we are born to the moment we die, is a process of learning.’
DGP Dr. S.P Vaid also appreciated the efforts of speed ball organisation in preparing students to emerge as national & world level players of speed ball. He appreciated the students and staff of Jammu Sanskriti School, Jammu for providing inspirational activities & opportunities to its students in all areas of educational excellence, may it be studies or actions in daily life. On the occasion Sh. S.P Langer (Chairman), Sh. Ravi Tiku (President), Mr. Gourav Abrol (Vice-President), Anil Nanda (Director Event) were present. This closing ceremony was very successful venture with the Vote of thanks by Sunny Nanda (General Secretary).
