Jammu:Celebrating the Five Elements of Nature; a poignant reminder to conserve and protect five main elements of nature, Jammu Sanskriti School, Jammu came up with a prodigy theme ‘Panchtatav’ which intended to make masses vigilant and alert about the present scenario. Mr Danish Rana (IGP, MD, PHC) was the Chief Guest to preside the glittering extravaganza. The Chief Guest with Guests of honour Mr Balwant Thankur (Regional Director, ICCR); Major General D.S Gill (Chief of staff HQ16 Corps) & special invitee guest Mr Shalendra Mishra, IPS was ecstatic with immense pleasure by the warm welcome of our fraternity. The day ushered in with a symphonious school and welcome song followed with the lighting of ceremonial lamp by the esteemed guests escorted by dignitaries. This entailed the sapling presentation as a token of gratitude; a new tradition initiated in our school for greeting the guests in an eco-friendly way which was further taken to another level by an array of scintillating welcome dance performance. The tiny tots of primary wing rejuvenated everyone with zest and gaiety. Principal cum Vice–Chairperson of the school Ms Rohini Aima highlighted the success stories and achievements of the school with the vision and mission of the school. She congratulated staff, studenta & parents for the achievements & co-operation at every step. Portraying the prominence of five tatvas, Sanskritians tried to bring into light the stark realities of the world through their action packed performances based on all the five tatvas. Well synchronised performances left the audience in awe. We at Jammu Sanskriti School, Jammu tried to ignite and impinged the hearts of the audience against the imprudent deeds of human beings which leads to contaminated environment and the human body. Our prize distribution to acknowledge the students exemplary performances in both scholastic and co- scholastic aspects was held in four phases, the first phase prizes were given by IPS - Shalendra Mishra, the second & third ones by guests of honour Balwant Thakur and Major D.S Gill and the last phase was relinquished by our chief guest Danish Rana who appreciated the state and national winners and galvanised them to continue to do the same. Vote of thanks was conveyed by Ms. Avneet Sr. Co-ordinator. The programme rose to a final crescendo with the grand finale an amalgamation of Panchtattva, and ended in a beautiful sonority lingering in the minds of everyone. It was consummated with national anthem and a pledge to work towards a better tomorrow thereby making the efforts of Sanskritians worthwhile.
