It comes after Bharatiya Janata Party's (BJP) '#MainBhiChowkidar' campaign on Twitter became a top worldwide trend on the micro-blogging site, on Saturday. And this happened within hours of Prime Minister Narendra Modi launching it in the morning.
The tweet, in no time, garnered more than 25,000 retweets and 75,000 likes.
In the tweet, PM Modi said, "Your Chowkidar is standing firm and serving the nation. But, I am not alone. Everyone who is fighting corruption, dirt, social evils is a Chowkidar. Everyone working hard for the progress of India is a Chowkidar. Today, every Indian is saying - #MainBhiChowkidar."
