Jammu:On last day of first Phase of Sports Tourney 2018, Volley ball Women match was played at GCW Gandhinagar Constituent Colleges of Cluster University of Jammu organised by DSW, Cluster University of Jammu.
The final played between GCW Gandhinagar and GGM Science College, GCW won by 2-0. The first match was won by GCW by 12 points (25 – 13). The second match was also won by GCW by 11 points scoring (25 – 14). Rifat Choudhary and Renuka gave exceptional performance which was highly appreciated. Mulkh Raj, Amit and Dileshwar Singh were involved in the smooth conduct of match.
Dr. Jatinder Khajuria, Registrar, Cluster University of Jammu who was the Chief Guest appreciated the efforts of DSW and entire team in organizing this sports tournament. Prof. Koushal Samotra, Principal GCW Gandhinagar was the Guest of Honour; she congratulated the winners for their commendable performance. Prominent among those who were present on the occasion included Dr. Twinkle Suri, DSW CLUJ, Pro. Sunil Uppal, Prof. Surinder Sharma. The championship was conducted under the supervision of Dr. Vinod Bakshi, Physical Director G.C.W Gandhi Nagar, Jammu said that Pricipal of college is a source of inspiration for young female players in general and GCW students in particular.
