Divisional Commissioner and IGP Jammu visit Rajouri,hold interaction with civil society

Divisional Commissioner,Jammu,Sanjeev Verma today visited Rajouri and interacted with the civil society members in meeting held at Dak Bunglow Rajouri.The Divisional Commissioner was accompanied by the IGP Jammu Mukesh Singh,DIG Rajouri Poonch Range Vivek Gupta.Deputy Commissioner Rajouri Mohammad Aijaz Asad and senior Superintendent of police Yougal Manhas were also present on the occasion.

The civil society members at the outset complimented the civil as well as police Administration for the proactive role in maintaining the peaceful environment in the district.The members of the civil society interacted with the Divisional Commissioner and appraised him about a number of issues ranging from confidence building measures and opening bid tourism industry in the district.

The issues which were raised in the meeting includes employment and infrastructural development in the district,Local employment at GMC and BGSBU,restoration of airtel and Jio services in the district,creation of auditorium facility in the district, operationalization of the Radio and Doordarshan Kendra in the district.

DC informed that the overall situation remained calm and emergency services in hospitals are functioning properly and uninterrupted power and water supply was ensured during the restrictions.It was also informed that there is a sufficient amount of essential supplies in the district.He also stated that the availability of LPG was also restored at the earliest.

The Divisional Commissioner complimented the public of Rajouri for maintaining peace and promoting the mutual brotherhood and communal harmony in the district.He also said that the people of pir panjal always stood for country and they are known for their rich cultural and communal harmony.

IGP Jammu, Mukesh Singh also congratulated the public for maintaining peace in the district.He said that the public of Rajouri have again set an example of mutual brotherhood.He also appealed the civil society members to cooperate with the civil and police administration in maintaining law and order situation in the district. 

He assured the public that their demands have been noted and he will put before the Higher authorities for approval.The Divisional Commissioner complimented the civil and police Administration for maintaining peace in the district and asked the DC to review the availability of essential commodities on a daily basis and address the public requirements promptly. He also appealed for maintaining peace in the district.
