Jammu:As a part of celebration of world blood donor day, 72 battalion of border security force organised a blood donation camp at Khanetar Nallah, Poonch.
Medical team of seven doctors assisted by paramedic staff from district hospital Poonch also performed their duties during the camp.
Officiating commanding officer, Arun Kumar addressed the gathering and said that blood donation is one of the most significant contribution that a person can make to the society.
Many blood units donated by participating BSF soldiers in the camp were handed over to health department for general use.
