Commandant General Home Guards meets Governor

Srinagar:Mr. Dilbag Singh, IPS, Commandant General Home Guards, Civil Defence and State Disaster Response Fund called on Governor N.N. Vohra at the Raj Bhavan here today.
       Mr. Singh briefed the Governor about the preparedness of Home Guards in dealing with natural and man-made calamities. He also discussed the ongoing activities and training programmes of the Home Guards.
       Governor advised Mr. Singh to take all required steps to see that all Home Guard volunteers undergo regular training to be able to adequately meet any arising disaster situation.
