Srinagar:A teacher was attacked by a bear while he was on way to a school in Mendhar area of Ponch district of Jammu and Kashmir on Monday.
Reports said that Mohammad Naseer (30) of Dhargloon Balakote village was seriously injured in the attack which took place at Nar Mankote village at 9 am.
Block Medical officer, Mendhar, Dr Parvaiz Ahmad Khan said the person suffered multiple injuries in his face.
Dr Khan said the injured was referred to GMC&H for specialised treatment from sub-district hospital Mendhar.
